Rwake

Overview

Rwake, from Little Rock, Arkansas, released their second album, "REST," for Relapse Records, on September 27, 2011.

The pictures were used to promote the album in both print and web.

Every time a band puts out a new album, they need new pictures. Rwake luckily let me do the promotional pictures for their last album, “Voices of Omens,” in 2005, when I was still a beginner in photography.

They told me the label recommended they get some “big-time” photographer from Chicago to take their pictures for “Rest.” They demanded I do them, instead.

And that’s why Rwake are not only an amazing band, but an amazing group of people.
